Something really strange is going on. NQMQ17 contract does not seem to work anymore. When I enter a position it shows an entirely different entry price. I just entered long at 44.275 and all of a sudden it shows the entry at 44.58 and that it is in a loss.
The Display on the left showing the P/L and net PL is correct though.
Please help!!!
I installed the current version and pre release but it doesn't fix it.

I actualyl find it highly worrying that this happens in the first place and is causing a great deal of stress.

We see you are using CQG. The symbol you are referring to is F.US.NQMQ17.

Check the Average Fill Price for the order in Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Orders.

Is that incorrect?

it was just one contract, so no average fill price.
I already closed it, so will need to check next trade.

What causes this?

Do you see the order listed in the Trade Orders and Positions window?

There must be an Average Fill Price. That will always be set even in the case of a single fill.

We do not understand the issue clearly enough to even answer your question.

I closed the order, it's not listed in Trade Orders and Positions anymore.
I just looked in the history and the avg entry price is accurate there. Also the exit price.

Therefore, it sounds as though this is just simply an issue with the Position Average Price calculation.

This is explained here:

I cleared the history, and it seems to have resovled it for now. I did notice that it has been off for quite some time...

Yes, you did need to clear the order fill history for the Symbol and Trade Account. That would have been the only solution.

There would have been some incomplete order fill data causing the problem.

Just out of interest, what causes this to happen?
I'm asking so that I can recognize this myself next time and at an earlier stage. It's not as easy to spot this via the trade history.

Also for that reason should the trade history be cleared regularly?

In general, incomplete fill data or an incorrect Open/Close field with the fill. We cannot give you an exact answer without analyzing every fill and seeing how they are being used in the current Position calculations.

This section here gives you more of an idea about this:
