When I put in a bracket order and then I cancel it, the contingency orders remain on the Sierra DOM. I then go in to cancel the orders individually. The good news is, when I look at brokerage firm's proprietary software, all orders that were placed by Sierra are cancelled immediately.

This is going to be an issue with the Trading service you are using related to order updates.

Contact your trading service about this and let them know the particular Service Order ID numbers you have an issue with. You can see those in Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Orders.

Also we recommend not using server-side Bracket orders for now and see if that helps. Disable that option:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Use Server Side Bracket Orders (if supported) (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General)

If I use CQG will that eliminate the problem? I only want server side orders in case my internet connection fails.

Yes that will solve the problem. Or you can use CTS.

I am done with GAIN too. Just had a phantom order get filled which was part of an OCO stop order. Suppose to have cancelled and instead was invisible on my DOM until it got hit.

@red23 Until you switch to another feed, you can see which orders are actually entered by using the GAIN software while running Sierra.

Yes, these issues should never exist to begin with.

But do monitor your trading through the OEC Trader software.
