Can't get Numbers Bars to work correctly

I opened up a new 1 minute chart of September S&P futures, set 5 days to load, added the Numbers Bars study, and chose Bid Volume vs Ask Volume. I get a very strange result... some prices have trades virtually every minute, then there are gaps where the prices have no trades.
