SC Team - Noticed you have introduced General Purpose Chart DOM columns(Thank you) but are set to "Auto Resize" by default and no option to change them.

Wondering if it is possible to change the width of the column by other means(ACSIL/Chart settings etc).

Edit - Never mind - Found a work around - I could control it by Padding the label as needed.

thanks

Yes. This is documented here:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Chart/Trade DOM Column Widths and Headers (Trade >> Customize Chart/Trade DOM Columns)

SC Team - When your time permits - Would you please provide couple of functions which would make use of these general purpose columns you have built?

- Pixel value of Left & Right side of the general purpose column ( similar to sc.StudyRegionLeftCoordinate & sc.StudyRegionRightCoordinate but for the general purpose column
- Adjust the width of the General Purpose Column through ACSIL
- Set the label through ACSIL

I understand you are busy with other enhancements you are doing and you might not be able to get to them. For now using few work arounds, but would be elegant/accuarate if the above is provided at your convenience.

thanks

When the Chart market data columns are configured in certain way - the width can not be adjusted using "drag" mode as described in the documentation.

Attached is the sample chartbook (no studies) which demonstrate the issue.

Tried to get rid all possible columns except the general purpose columns. That's when you would notice this issue. Would it be possible to remove buy order / sell order columns and just have the general purpose columns with adjustable width by any means?

thanks

Regarding feature requests, we cannot accept those now and it would be years before we could look at them.

We will look into the described issue in post #4.

Actually Yes. You just need to use Trade >>Show Market Data Columns and do not enable the Chart DOM.

But we need to add support to adjust the columns in this case.

Thank you. Good enough if you could support adjust the width of the columns - when Chart DOM is not enabled. even better if you could atleast provide left & right co-ordinates for the general purpose column if possible (similar to sc.StudyRegionLeftCoordinate & sc.StudyRegionRightCoordinate ).

PS: As you are busy - None of these are urgent as I have a work around for now for all these items.

Thanks

SC Team - would you please review and take care of this when you do any other work in this functional area.

thanks

This will be done. We just have not gotten to it yet.

even better if you could atleast provide left & right co-ordinates for the general purpose column if possible (similar to sc.StudyRegionLeftCoordinate & sc.StudyRegionRightCoordinate ).
We can provide the coordinates of the Values Scale and market data columns area as one complete region.

Thank you. No rush on this and you can address this - when you get to work in this functional area. I am using workaround for now.

We can provide the coordinates of the Values Scale and market data columns area as one complete region.

Thank you. In this case - Would you Please provide the co-ordinates for the shaded region as one Complete region(right side of the valuescale as left co-ordinates for the complete region).

thanks

SC Team - Noticed you have introduced 2 new functions related to the co-ordinates for the price scale.

sc.RightValuesScaleLeftCoordinate -- I think this value is always likely to be sc.StudyRegionRightCoordinate. It would have been nice to provide the left/right co-ordinates for the shaded rectangle area as marked in the above picture instead.
sc.RightValuesScaleRightCoordinate -- this is indirectly the right co-ordinates of the full window as well. There is no need for this as well in current state.

So - if you could just provide the value of the right co-ordinates of the Valuescale - That should be good enough. If it is not much of a development effort - please see if you could provide this. if not - no worries as I would continue to use the work around ( though it's tedious).

Thanks

Good enough if you could support adjust the width of the columns - when Chart DOM is not enabled.

for anyone else wondering how to adjust the column widths...

steps:
- trade > show market data columns
- adjust the columns at the top if sc allows (i found sometimes it doesn't)

if not
- trade > trading chart dom on
- adjust the columns at the top
- trade > trading chart dom on (uncheck it)
- trade > chart trade mode on (uncheck it)
- trade > show market data columns (leave this checked)

if there is another way to do this without turning on the chart dom, please let us know sc support - thanks
