Hi Why the value of Volatility Trend is not coming as 1 or -1 as per the color of the graph red or green. Spreadsheet values are showing an average price value as below; [ID7] Volatility Trend Indicator [ID7.SG1] Volatility Trend [ID7.SG5] Dynamic Period Length 3895.883056640625 26 3906 25 3875.506591796875 24 3884.422119140625 23 3884.512939453125 22 3897.558349609375 21 |

The price information is the correct result for the Volatility Trend Indicator. This is reflected in the documentation for this study. The values of 1 or -1 are just the directional values of the study and as you state, are reflected in the coloring. You will find the documentation for this study here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudiesReference.php&ID=155#Volatility_Trend_Indicator If the Directional information is something you want to use, you can modify the study, as the code is available in the file studies.cpp. Follow the instructions here for how to build a custom study: How to Build an Advanced Custom Study from Source Code Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
