what is the reason, that sometimes the OCO orders are split. eg. I trade 5 contracts and once filled the OCOs are each two or three with 1-1-3 contracts for example? Is that due to that how the order is filled, if it is one 5 contracts order or five one-contract orders? I enabled "allow for scale in", so I thought this should be gone, but its not. it is just anoying that like this I always have to move more than one position to a new stop or target and it is also a bit slow sometimes like this.

This is explained here:
Attached Orders: OCO Group (Group)

move more than one position to a new stop or target and it is also a bit slow sometimes like this.
This does not make sense to us.

When an order is split, the individual orders are all linked together and modifying one, will modify the others.

do I understand right:
in order to eliminate my "issue" I need to put the target and stop in same OCO group (like oco group 1) and NOT use "All oco groups" as that could split up the orders?
I was not aware I had that different as I only use one target and stop, but who knows.

If you use only 1 Target and 1 Stop, then the orders will not be split.

and still today one order was split.
Therefore, how do you come to that conclusion?

because I dont have one postition on the dom for target and stop that I move around. but two.
so if I quickly want to change target or stop it is not possible because I have to ??? what ever things, positions, I need to shift.
and also when I go to trade activity log then under "trades" this order is not one line, but two.

It is impossible for there to be 2 Positions for the same Symbol and Trade Account. A position could not be moved either. You could not be referring to a Position.

Are you referring to two separate order submissions or one? If you are referring to one individual order submission with the Attached Orders, the parent order and the child orders cannot possibly be split. That is a complete impossibility.

I dont mean the position, but the childs. sorry, misunderstanding. I have (sometimes, not always) two positions for the open stop loss order and the open take profit order. once an order is filled. not before. and I assume that the order is not filled with one counterparty, but two. as eg someone is trading 1 contract that is filled with my order and then eg an other counterparty fills 2 other of mine contracts. and then I have to pairs of "oco-childs" for my position.
and there will be two lines in the trade activity log.

The only thing that we can say is that it sounds like you want to use the Scale In functionality:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/AttachedOrders.html#ScalingIn

But this only works under certain conditions and those conditions are documented. Read the documentation to understand exactly how it works.

If you are entering another parent order before the first one is filled, then it is best you cancel that and enter a new one with an increased quantity.

There is nothing else we can offer.
