Please explain how to successfully use this function. It should work as expected and as simply put in the documentation. All it does at the moment is send the objects to the background on the chart the object was created on. On charts where objects have been copied it does nothing. Please study the screenshots and notice the ticking/unticking of the function on the chart where the rectangle was created.

This command works exactly as is documented. We verified that in this is easily verified.

It must be that rectangle was not drawn on that chart but came from another chart or is being created by a study.

Also, make sure you are running the current version of Sierra Chart.

Unfortunately you are incorrect. I will just take a camtasia vid tomorrow and put onto youtube and share the link here, displaying the three points below.

1) Version 1564
2) Not coming from a study (as you can see from what I am clicking in the screenshot above anyway)
3) Coming from the same chart. This is also irrelevant when chart link feature also became incorporated all the way back in v1382. Please refer to Show or Hide all drawings should you disagree.

I've found the root problem.

If there are more than 10 numbers in the Linked Chart function, the chart then needs Hide All Chart Drawings AND Hide Drawings from Other Charts

Try it for yourself and let me know.

There is no problem. All of the functionality works properly and as documented.

We did testing, and we could not verify the problem and it makes no sense that such a problem could even possibly exist. And we also did some documentation updates to update these particular menu commands.

Refer to:
Chart Menu: Hide Chart Drawings (Chart menu)

We do not accept videos. Do not spend time on this. Refer to the policy here:
Support Board Posting Information: Do Not Post Videos Unless Requested!

What we need from you, is a Chartbook containing a single chart demonstrating the problem. Follow the instructions here:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

The newly updated documentation makes just as much sense as the old.. to me anyway.

It happens on any chartbook. I've tried it on about 5 different ones, chartbooks with 1 chart on, with 10 on, etc. I'll upload anyway

OK, we just need a Chartbook to test this with.
