Dropbox with Sierra Charts

Did a bit of searching and I understand that I cannot run 2 copies of sierra charts simultaneously from the same data folder. If I install sierra charts to my dropbox folder and sync that folder with another computer; provided I close sierra on the first computer, can I then go and resume where I left of on the second computer? Per my experience, this general idea works. Some services will not sync certain types of files (exe) - not sure about dropbox.

Without really knowing how that service works, based on what you said it seems like this should work but you have to really test it.
