Numbers Bars not plotting correctly on Flex Renko Bars

Seems that once Numbers Bars are applied to Flex Renko Bars, the chart is changed considerably and contains additional candles. This can be clearly seen by setting up the following chart: Flex Renko: 5-2-4 Duplicate the chart and then add numbers bars with the Candlestick Outline and compare. The one with the Numbers Bars applied seems to create additional candles. By that I mean where you see 1 up candle on the Flex Renko, the exact same chart with Numbers Bars applied shows 2 candles for the same move. Is this by design? What you describe is an impossibility. The Numbers Bar study does not cause any additional chart bars. It only replaces the existing chart bars. We think you are confused about what you are seeing because Numbers Bars is going to show the true internal bar values and not the incorrect Open, High, Low, Close values that you get with Renko bars that users have an interest in. Anyway, we are going to be working on Renko bars. We will not spend any time on this. We are going to be working on the reimplementation of Renko bars sometime in the next 30 days. Could be the nature of Renko bars but the visual representation is certainly different between the two versions. Just for reference, below is an image of the same area on identical chart setups: The left one is a 5-2-4 Flex Renko using Renko with wicks. The right is also a 5-2-4 Flex Renko with numbers bars using Candlestick Outline. Both charts are showing the exact same prices/times of day. On the left, the up and down moves are represented by 2 bars each. On the right, 3 bars. The last 6 bars on the left are represented by 5 bars on the right and they look completely different. So, in my view, something is off. Even if you switch the left chart draw type to Candlesticks, they still don't match. Look forward to the new renko bars. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2017-05-24 04:04:15
