How to play an alert sound on Point and Figure chart (when the bar closes)

Hello everyone! I am using a P&F charts and I need that every time a new bar appears, the platform emits a sound. Lets start to say that I am a trader and not a programmer, so I have no idea how to create a code for that. I've tried to use "CountDown timer", found on -->Analysis-->Studies-->CountDown timer, so like that I could have use the function "alert on new bar", but the problem is; the countdown timer doesn't work... It displays always the value 0 (zero). I've tried to work out on the paramenters such as "CountDown based on real time clock" or "display remaining range in ticks" but nothing works.... Maybe I am doing something wrong but I really need that sound.. Can someone of you guys help me, please? Thanks in advance and klind regards. Fabio. |

Even though the Countdown Timer does not display anything other than a zero for a Point and Figure chart, it still will provide a sound for every new chart bar when you have set Alert On New Bar to Yes. So it can be used for that purpose.
