Hi,

In the past when I traded Forex on MT4, I had an indicator that displayed "5 day ADR & Today's range". Please see attached.

Is there an indicator available for SC, that will calculate X days average and today's range for RTH?

Thanks

This is all possible. We have to put together some examples for this. We may already have one of them.

If anyone is interested in having the ADR, along with Today's Range displayed in Text on the Daily Chart... here it is.

Study Collection includes:
1) ADR (5 day, this can be changed to whatever you like).
2) Today's Range.

Chart Settings: (This is what I use, this can be changed to whatever you like).
1) Intraday 405 minutes
2) Session Times, 9:30 - 16:15 EST.

Hi Guys,
I am trying to achieve the same. Locate ADR for past 5 days as well as ADR for today as text on the chart I work with. I managed to do so for ADR for past 5 days. I created Daily Chart 7 added ADR study for past 5 days. Step 2: I created Intraday chart (i.e. 15 min chart) and managed to transfer ADR for past 5 days (from Daily Chart) as TEXT via "Text Display for Study from Chart" Study.
But how do I add: Today's ADR to the chart as TEXT display as well? I followed item 44 but i think it is outdated. It does not work on the current Sierra Version.
Please, assist.

Hi User38606,

For todays ADR you need to use 2 studies.

First add the 'Daily OHLC' study to the Intraday chart and set 'Reference Days Back' to 0 for todays values.

Add the 'Study Subgraphs Difference' study.

Then add Daily OHLC 'High' for Input Study 1 and Daily OHLC 'Low' for Input Study 2. This will calculate the difference between the high and the low.

You can then use another Text Display For Study with the 'Study Subgraphs Difference' as the input for the 'Study and Subgraph to Display' field.

Cheers
