Hello,

Why does the DOM not honor my scale settings and keep the last price within view?

This issue has been fixed assuming the issue is caused by hidden chart bars. Update to the current version of Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Current Version.

You may also need to reset the scale with Chart >> Reset Scale.

I was using version 1540 when I took this screenshot and posted. Today I upgraded to version 1543 and now the DOM will not replay properly. The bid/ask sizes are not accurately present anymore. If I roll back to 1540, this day plays fine in replay.

We think the issue relates to some improvements we were working on related to the thread you had about the Market Depth Historical Graph. We were trying to get it to update more frequently in between trades.

That still needs more work but for the time being we should have solved this problem.

Update to the latest prerelease which is 1548.

Using version 1549 (this was the latest pre-release after I read this thread) and its still a problem. I right click on the scale and selected Reset, prior to taking this screenshot.

If you double-click on the scale of numbers that should immediately re-center to the last trade price.

Otherwise, this is not making sense and we would have to use remote assistance to look into this.

Yes, I can double click, but the point of having the constant range and ticks from edge setting is to keep the price visible within a certain boundary from the edge - isn't it?

As you can see in my screen cap, it is not keeping price within 5 ticks from the edge as I have in my settings (price was higher before taking the screenshot). I have plenty of other things to be clicking on and studying during the day.

Yes but you may have altered the scale with Interactive Scale Move in which case your setting will seem like it is not being followed. And that is why you see what you do.
