Sierra Charts demo account with FXCM demo account's username and password does not work

Hello, I signed up for a demo account with Sierra and a demo account with FXCM. How do I get my Sierra Charts to work with the FXCM demo account. When I enter the user name and password FXCM assigned me it does not work, Sierra only works with the Sierra demo account user name and password. Thanks for your help. |

I found the instructions in your user manual after I posted the first message. Sierra did not need the FXCM user name and password. However, I want to make sure that what I'm trying to do is possible. It looks like I can have real time historical forex data directly through Sierra without needing a forex account to link to. I'll be using another broker that you don't support to trade with since I am in the U.S. and cannot trade with FXCM. I don't want to open an account with Interactive Brokers that you do support as it requires $10,000 in funding. Thank you. |

Thanks for the reply, I had one more question. If I sign up with Sierra after my trial period, can I pay the exchange fees for the CME and get real time futures data and use Sierra to practice trade both Forex and Futures indefinitely without a futures broker? I read in your instructions that I can get real time indexes and a few other things without paying the exchange fees, but I would like to eventually trade futures so it would be worth it to get the real time CME data, but I don't want to open a futures trading account right away.
