The below ACSIL line doesn't seem to be working;
sc.StudyDescription = "Example function for calculating a simple moving average.";

When you are in the studies >> Settings window (of the specific custom study) and press "Description," a Notepad window opens an xml looking document full of garble instead of the description inside the quotation marks? Can this be corrected or am I doing something wrong? Regards

The file should open within your web browser.

Open this file in your web browser and see how it looks.

As far as I can tell there is no option on how the sc.StudyDescription function displays the data (ie no option on how the file opens?), as a user all I do is press the "Description" button in the studies >> settings dialogue box window displayed.

NOTE: This is different to studies >> studies available and hitting the "show study description" which does open the browser and takes you to the SC page of available studies descriptions.

You need to associate HTML files with your web browser.

How to do that is not within the scope of our support.

Thanks for pointer; for others who might search for this.
Once the file opens, save the file to the desktop with a name.html (html) extension.
Right click on the saved html and press; open with >> choose default programme >> choose web-browser. Regards
