I realize that CQG has OCO bracket orders that are managed server side but I had a question when I enter a position and manage the position by use of a trailing stop with no target. Is this stop managed server side or client side? If the trailing aspect is managed client side is the stop still resting on the exchange and the client is just modifying as the trail kicks in?

I just want to make sure that if I lose connection that I do have a stop resting at the exchange, it would be nice to have the server also managing the trailstop but it isn't that important, I'm more concerned about client side connectivity issues.

Thanks in advance.

Trailing stops are always managed on the Sierra Chart side.

In this particular case after the parent order has filled, the stop order is sent to CQG and it will be at the exchange.
