Hi, I would like to cancel all working orders(except attached orders), every time a new entry signal is generated via spreadsheets. I've inputed the entry formula into column J78(Cancel All Orders except working Attached Orders), but it isn't working.

What I'm trying to achieve is basically this.

1- Spreadsheets generaltes a signal which goes out as a limit order.

2- If the limit order hasn't filled and a new signal is generated, the previous limit order would be cancelled and a new one would be sent out.

Is inputing the entry formula into J78 the correct procedure?

At the moment the signals are generated via a Color Bar Based on Alert Condition status being true or false. In oder words, columns K and M are simply referencing wether a column's value is > 0.

An option I'm thinking of is using another Color Bar Based on Alert Condition Study but unchecking Evaluate on Bar Close, and using that as column J78's input.

Is there a better way to achieve this?

Links to reference for this?

Thanks

What you are doing sounds all right. But we do not provide help with troubleshooting/debugging. Refer to:

The only thing we can say is just manually test the J78(Cancel All Orders except working Attached Orders) cell by entering a 1.

Will do! Just wanted to check if I'm using J78 correctly by using formulas in it.

As far as trouble shooting, I will try and keep track of what I'm doing and post here, in case it can help others or it can contribute something useful to the documentation.

Thank you.
