Hello Sierra Chart Support, I have the Volume Profile added to my TPO chart. If I want to extend VPOC until future intersection, I can do that only if I had 'POC based on Volume' enabled on the TPO chart. Instead if I want to use the POC from my volume profile, even though there is an option to extend POC until future extension, it doesn't seem to work. Please do the needful. Appreciate your support.

Thank you.

Extending the point of control Until Future Intersection with the Volume by Price study when used with the TPO Profile Chart study is supported. Refer to:
http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1489722416196.png

Be sure you set this on the Volume by Price study itself. Refer to:

Thanks for the prompt response. Just so you know, I tried again exactly as you said but, am not able to extend NVPOC until future intersection but, I tried again with the Naked TPO POC. Am able to extend that until future intersection.

Also one more point. For the Naked TPO VPOC (which am able to extend until future intersection), when I give it a Short Name under Subgraphs, I don't see the Short Name displayed on the chart.

Thank you.

We need to get a Chartbook containing the chart with the studies you are working with so we can check this for you. There should not be any problem. Follow these instructions to provide us that Chartbook:

Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

For the Naked TPO VPOC (which am able to extend until future intersection), when I give it a Short Name under Subgraphs, I don't see the Short Name displayed on the chart.
This might not be currently supported. We will look into this.

Thank you. I don't seem to find the 'Private' option under 'Add/Edit Attached Files' as mentioned in the documentation. Please advise.

Thank you.

So when you are on the file upload page like this:

You do not see the " Make Private" link?

Actually, you know what? Unlike your document, thhe 'Private' option shows after the file is uploaded. Not before. I will send the chartbook once I reach home.

The documentation does state to upload the file and then the next step is to use the Make Private command. See step #7 here:

Perfect. I can see that it is resolved. Since we are on this topic, one request that is not urgent but, would help if we can have it in the upcoming releases. It would help to have a separate Subgraph 'Point of Control Extension Line' for 'Volume by Price' like we have for 'Numbers Bars'. This will allow me to label Naked POCs correctly. Else, can't differentiate. Not a big deal but, would help.

Thanks for all the quick and prompt support. You guys rock.

This is now supported.

You can set a Short Name on the Point of Control subgraph with the Volume by Price study and enable the Name Label. It will now be displayed.

Thank you. But, I think am misunderstood. If you look under the Subgraphs for 'Numbers Bars' study, you will notice that there are 2 POC related Subgraphs - 'Point of Control' and 'Point of Control Extension Line'. That is not the case if you look under the 'Volume by Price' study. This study only has 'Point of Control' and is missing 'Point of Control Extension Line'. Hope I make sense.
