On 2017-03-15, there were interruptions with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed affecting many different CME symbols.

The problem was due to an operating system update that Barchart the vendor of record and who also operates the network, did on their network switch.

They are still working through the issues. We are now using backup channels for the CME which has mitigated the problem.

It was a rather disastrous day with interruptions going on for up to an hour. We do acknowledge this.

There currently is missing data and also some incorrect bid volume and ask volume. We are still working on the historical data issues and that will all be cleaned up in the next few hours.

We can only patch the data for the outright futures contracts. There is intermittent missing Intraday data for spreads for 2017-03-15.

It was possible for us to be using the backup channels an ongoing basis to have eliminated this problem to begin with. The reason we do not, is that when we use this additional bandwidth, it does create some amount of packet loss which we want to eliminate.
