How do I access the VIX futures? it doesn't look like they trade on a futures exchange, or I can't find them on one.
What exchange do they trade on?
Price specs?
How much/month for these quotes?

Thanks

We see you are using TD Ameritrade.

The symbol has now been added. The symbol pattern is VI?##

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:

The exchange is CFE Futures. It is listed here:

From User:
That response isnt clear...when you click on the CFE exchange, it takes one to the first attachment (VIX #1). You indicated its the
one with the VI root?. When you click on that it takes you to another page which says there are no options available (VIX #2). Where do you just subscribe to the exchange? Am I able to get delayed data for it now? I used the symbols VIJ7 and VI?J7 of which neither worked.

The correct symbol will be VIH17

You need to use this symbol.

It will be easiest if we activate the exchange for you. CFE Futures is 15.75 USD per month. Should we activate it for you?

You will be able to get delayed data that does not update for it now.

When I use VIHI7 I in a chart I get a "download failed"...assuming its not right. It trades in .05 price increments?

This is the wrong symbol.

The last two characters is the year. They are both digits and it needs to be 17.

The tick size will be automatically set.
