LMAX IB suggestions

Hi Sierra/Community

Does anyone have any Introducing Broker suggestions for LMAX as I'm uncomfortable in moving 'X' amount equivalent across from selling other investments in order to open an LMAX direct account and also having that amount held with a broker(even if segregated). I have heard of FXMTF but they don't seem to support FIX with Sierra Chart.

Ideally it would be great to just have an account with LMAX using SC credentials and putting a small amount across at most.

Any thoughts or suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

From what I have learned.
The account type required by SC does not necessary to be FIX account.
FIX /API account will cost more.
MT4 would not work since it is not supported by SC.
The basic type would be WEB platform.

Others IB like http://inraidotrading.com/ are also offering the similar platform.

I am would like to see more response whether there is any other LMAX IB available.

You do not need FIX. Just a standard LMAX account is what you want.

Thanks all. I think I'm going to go the direct LMAX route and get the funds organised to meet the minimum deposit amount. I'll still keep a look out for IBs and post some findings.

One last thing I wanted to run by you SC... and which I should've mentioned originally but lost the link post

In the following link...
Notice: Lower-Cost Support for CTS for Trading Futures and LMAX for Cash Forex/CFDs

You mention...
"For about a year now, Sierra Chart has offered a new connection to LMAX with no monthly minimums or account minimums for cash Forex and CFD trading"[/i]

What did you mean by account minimums as LMAX do insist on this $10k minimum, even when using Sierra.

The statement about no monthly minimums was in regards to there is no minimum trading volume required to avoid a monthly fee with the new connection as compared to using FIX.

In regards to account minimums, we were not aware there was a minimum of 10,000. We thought it was 1000. Previously this is what LMAX told us several years ago.

You really cannot trust anything we say when it comes to account minimums. We simply could be wrong because we do not know for sure and things can always change without us even being aware of that.
