I am having a problem setting VWAP to start at a specific time, It was working before then updated sierra and it doesn't want to work anymore, just wondering if you may know what to do. I tried the rolling VWAP, but still nothing.

Can you let me know if there are any issues with this study on 1518?

Same with me. After updating to version 1518, VWAP stopped working.

We need specific details on what they need to do.

For how long of a time period do they want the calculation to be over? And what starting time do they want?

In my case, I have a rolling 10 day VWAP based on daily bars. When I rolled back to a previous version it works. With version 1518 the VWAP simply disappears from the chart, even though it is still listed in my studies collection.

What are the Input settings you are using with the VWAP-Rolling study?

And is the study applied to an Intraday chart?

Same here. I use an 8 BAR period based on underlying data.

We do not observe any problem with this.

However, check the Number of Days to Calculate Input setting with the study.

That has been added to reduce the calculation time for this study which can be high.

ok . I see the added input. "Number of Days to Calculate" is set to 0. Is this different from "Time Period Length"? The "Time Period Length" is set to 200

Yes it is different and we will make sure if it is zero, that is automatically corrected to be 10 which is the default.

What is the exact name of the study you are using?

And also provide an image of the chart following these instructions:

We need to understand exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish with a starting Date-Time.

Describe this for us.

The Start Date-Time Input with these studies does not really make sense based upon what it does. It definitely should not be used in the Volume Weighted Average Price-Rolling study and it has been replaced by the Number of Days to Calculate Input.
