So this study works fine Tues-Fri except on Mondays. Say I have it set to display 4:15pm price level. It does exactly that except on Monday instead of displaying Friday's 4:15pm time, it refers to Sunday and draws a line from when market opens on Sunday evening. How can I get around this or not have Sunday displayed on the charts at all. Or can a setting be added to the study to stop it from looking at weekend times ?

We will be working on the study in the next couple of days. So we will see if we can find a solution to this.

You can filter weekend data from charts, but it will not help in this case. Refer to the documentation here:

yeah i had tried the filtering option already to no avail. Maybe implement checkbox style options to select which days we want it to display and option to skip weekend data altogether. thanks anyway. looking forward to the solution.

hey what's the update on this issue as you mentioned you would be working on it.. I just upgraded to latest version and issue is still there. only work around right now is to hide the study every Monday, manually draw a line and unhide it on Tues.. not exactly ideal ..

You need to set the new Ignore Weekends option with this study to Yes.

Yeah I tried that setting with no luck. I tried all the combinations on a clean chart .. still doesn't ignore Sunday data.

Idea is for the study to draw line at 4:15pm (US Eastern) on Friday and extend it out to display on Monday ignoring all weekend data. Right now, the line starts at 4:15pm on Friday but ends when new session opens on Sunday. Then the line is drawing the 6pm Sunday open and extending that over to Monday which it shouldn't do based on your new setting correct ? .. tried all combinations for that new setting. not working !

is there a chart setting I need to change or something else that is impacting this?

Please test again.

You will need to hire a programmer or program yourself a solution if you cannot adjust the settings to meet your requirements. We cannot implement what you are looking for.

The Sunday day is probably considered part of Monday based upon the Session Times. This is explained in the documentation for this study:
