Initial conditions when replay

I can replay a chart [1T setting] [all charts in the Chartbook typically], a study will display the first signal. I can stop the replay, reset the chart to the same initial condition [same bar at the right edge of the screen], start the replay and the first signal won't be caught. I can restart SC, replay from the same place in the chart, and the first signal will be caught. It appears that some initial condition is not getting reset when I stop a replay.

It sounds like this is related to sc.AllowOnlyOneTradePerBar . The internal state used for that is not being reset when you are pausing and continuing a replay. Or stopping the replay and starting it from the very same bar. This is a safety feature.

I'm not pausing and replaying. I'm stopping the replay, resetting the chart back to where the first replay started and starting the entire replay over again. I'm clicking "yes" in the "Clear replay trade data" dialogue box each time. The first time I do the replay the study catches a signal like it should and the second time [exact duplicate] it does not catch the signal when it should.

This is why we said this in the prior response:
Or stopping the replay and starting it from the very same bar.

Are you starting the replay at the same bar you stopped it at? If not, there should not be a problem.
