Sir,

I went to the page with the various example of coding for implementing an alert: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudyChartAlertsAndScanning.php#GeneralInformation

I my case, I would like to set-up an alert when a candle touch the BB on a Daily Chart and another when the candle close having crossed the Bollinger Band.

The code would be: =CROSSOVER(SG1, SG3) if SG1 is the BBTop and SG3 the BBLow ?

----------------------------------------

Besides, I have created a specific sound file in wav format placed in the Alertsound folder (sound that describe litteraly the action of a cross between the 2 curves of the MACD)
Even If I have chosen it on the alert panel of the MACD indicator, it does not occur and I get systematically en error message: No Sound/email set in the Alert Manager.
Do not know what to do...

The code for the alert itself does not work, even if it is a copy and paste from one of the available example in the help area: =CROSSOVER(ID13.SG1.ID13.SG2)
Is it a coma or a point that must separate SG1 from ID13 please ?

See attached please.

----------------------------------------

Last, is it possible to choose sound file in mp3 format ?

----------------------------------------

Thanks in advance !
