Slow loading charts

Are there any plans in the works to speed up the ability to both load and/or modify charts/studies? I use Sierra and Tradingview. Tradingview charts load pretty much instantly, even with custom programming and pretty complex charts. If I want to turn various elements on and off, or switch which stock or currency I am looking at with the watchlist, they load VERY quickly compared to Sierra. I realize we have the benefit of some additional data with you folks. But if I want to just hide a few studies, it takes FOREVER for the chart to load. With Tradingview, if I hide or unhide an element, it is pretty much instantaneous. Yes, my charts are highly detailed, but so are the Tradingview charts. I sincerely look forward to the day when we have similar load times with Sierra vs. Tradingview. Thank you! p.s. - any plans for transparency levels? |

No because this is something you need to solve on your side with a combination of adjustments to settings and faster hardware.Sierra Chart already works as fast as is possible. This is because there are differences which you are not aware of relating to data and settings configuration. Sierra Chart is lightning fast with what it does.If I want to turn various elements on and off, Specifically what do you mean?But if I want to just hide a few studies, it takes FOREVER for the chart to load. This is not correct. There is no chart loading which occurs in this case. There are study calculations which can occur depending upon how you are hiding the studies. We are making the process of hiding and un-hiding studies more efficient because we realize there is an unnecessary full study calculation which is occurring in this case which does not need to. We are changing this now. This will be out in the next release.
