Tried updating to version 1004 and told SC to close and now I can't open it. Have storage drive that I can pull files and data, just don't know what to do. Downloaded 997 and 990 and get error opening file for writing in SierraChart.exe when I attempt to open either one. What do I do?

We recommend doing the following:

1. Restart your computer and try starting Sierra Chart again.

2. For the errors about opening a file for writing, refer to help topic 16 here:

Help topic 16 provides all of the possible causes and solutions for this kind of problem.

Could you fix the problem?
I updated to 1004 as well, and have the same issue.

Post #3: Refer to what we said in post #2. And based upon post #4, disable any antivirus/anti-malware software that you have.

We do not believe or have any evidence of that there are any problems with Sierra Chart itself that would cause an issue with it starting up.
