Binary files for daily charts?

Is there any way to use binary files for daily charts, similar to the .scid file format for intraday charts?

The reason I need it is that I run many backtests and output the resulting equity curves to file for viewing in Sierra Chart. By far the slowest part of the process is writing the results to .txt files and clearly binary files would be faster.

I also see something about the DTC protocol but I'm not familiar with that and can't easily see whether that would be the right tool for this job.

The only thing that we can say is that the scid file format can contain data records which span one day. The format is here:

We cannot say anything further on this. That is outside the scope of our support.
