Hi

I have 2 instances of SC running in my laptop and desktop -- ONLY one is used at any time. I use desktop instance @ office and laptop instance at home.
I am unable to find a way to download all trading activity into the same instance from Interactive brokers.
I want to know how to download all trade activity for the prior trading day from Interactive brokers into the current SC instance even though trade execution happened in the other SC instance.

Thanks

The only suggestion we can give is to exit from both copies of Sierra Chart and copy the TradeActivityLog.dat file from one copy of Sierra Chart to the other.

This file holds the trade activity data.

Are you suggesting to merge TradeActivityLog.dat files from both instances and create new / combined TradeActivityLog.dat file ?

It does not look like a text file - looks like a binary file -- how to merge ? I need combined trading activity.

No. Not a merge operation. A complete replacement.

This should be fine if one copy of Sierra Chart has complete data.

Otherwise you can use the Export and Import functionality:
