When dragging to resize the main SC application, the attached chart windows "restore" become non-maximized, if you will. This is caused by having the "show title bar" deselected in the particular chart as well as having that chart selected while resizing the main sc window.

This is most definitely something we are not going to get involved with.

Either this is being controlled by the operating system or there is a certain reason why this happens.

Users need to realize the consequences of doing things like removing title bars and scrollbars and menus. The operating system does not handle these things very well. And we are not going to waste our valuable time chasing after these problems that we have no control over.

And if you find another program that works well for you, then use another one.

You seem to have plenty of time to make rude remarks to a paying customer for submitting a bug report.

And if you find another program that works well for you, then use another one.

*rude remarks*

Thank you for the compliment. It is much appreciated and we mean that.

Also, we did briefly look into this and we saw that it is the operating system causing this behavior and we are not going to do something to try to patch it. That is the kind of thing that creates other problems for users and for us. And therefore in the end, it is just a waste of our time.

The reason for what you call "rude remarks" (which we are proud of because we are being direct and to the point and honest with users), is we are trying to bring this matter to a close and make that very clear to users so we are not bothered by it. We cannot allow our time unnecessarily taken and we do not want to unnecessarily take your time. So therefore if Sierra Chart does not meet your requirements then use another program.

Post #5 was updated with a clarification.

A couple additional points:

Statements like this:
And if you find another program that works well for you, then use another one.

Are solely intended as a pre-response to prevent a further response from a user saying something like "well I don't see this with another program, so you should be able to fix it."

And we also will acknowledge, that the response from us which clearly indicates we simply do not want to get involved in this, can deter other bug reports about something that is genuine.

However, that is the reason why we said this:
Users need to realize the consequences of doing things like removing title bars and scrollbars and menus. The operating system does not handle these things very well. And we are not going to waste our valuable time chasing after these problems that we have no control over.
To indicate the nature of the problem.

We have been working very hard lately catching up on overdue development, improving performance and fixing existing problems. While we are not always perfect, we work very hard to deliver reliable software and services which are trustworthy and stable. like we said we are not perfect, and we do make mistakes but when we do and we become aware of them, we are taking care of them quickly.

We are not doing stupid things like Microsoft botching user interfaces like they have with Windows 8 and higher and their new Visual Studio. It is sickening the things that Microsoft is doing.

We did a more thorough code review, and in no place does Sierra Chart actually restore the child window on a resize of the main MDI frame window. So it is the operating system doing this.
