1. using IBPT_NUM_TICKS_PER_BAR, I would set the number of ticks in IntradayBarPeriodLength?
2. DaysToLoad - is there a way to access this from the chart settings? I want to open the the new chart with the same number of days as the current chart.

In the next release, you will be able to set DaysToLoad to 0 and this will use the setting from the chart the study is applied to.

Updated documentation:
DaysToLoad : This sets the number of days of data that will be loaded into the chart whether it is a Historical Daily chart or an Intraday chart. If this value is left at 0, then the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Use Number of Days to Load >> Days to Display/Load setting of the calling chart is used.
