Variable Period Pivot Points study - what is a Week/Month?

https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/PivotPoints.html#223 When setting the Time Period Type to Weeks or Months how does SC determine what a Week or Month is? Assuming the Study is on a Daily Historical chart. Using a Time Period of a Month as an example: is it the previous 20 daily bars (excl the current day being formed), or is it the previous completed calendar month, or is it the current calendar month still being formed reagrdless of how many days comprise the month being formed? Likewise for the Time Period of a Week. Looked in the documentation and searched the Support Board but could not find the answers. |
