SC trying to get real time market data for CL when no chart is open

See message log: I open SC with a Demo connection to CQG (which I am trialing as an alternative to the TTnet feed). No charts have been opened yet SC is trying to get market data updates for an old CL contract (April 2016) and is referencing the Symbol format for TTnet even though I am connected to CQG. Why has it singled out April 2016 which is not even the front month and is not even a contract month that would form part of a Continuos Contract for an Intraday chart. Sure I have this symbol/scid. file in my Data folder because it was created when using my TTnet connection, but I don't understand why it is getting in the message log for a CG connection.
