Hi,

I'm looking for the function that allows to conserve the data loaded today, for the next day.
So Sierra chart doesn't have to reload all the requested months of data every day?

Does this function exists?

The data is automatically saved. This is by design. There is nothing special that you need to do to cause this.

And please do not say it does not do this. That is simply not true.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I'm on a demo account. I use Futures data via my Interactive brokers account.

Every day I save my charts in Sierra Chart through : File>Save all.

The following day when I open my chartbook, sierra chart has to reload all data from every month since 2014.

When I do open my chart book - yes it does loads automatically the data - but all the way from September 2014.

My question was about knowing whether or not there is a function that allows to only load the new data since the last day I open my chartbook.
Or if we must every day wait for the full data from every month since 2014 in my case to load again from the server.

Is there a function that allows to save the data let say from the 28 September 2014 to the 28 September 2016, and then when I open the chartbook again on the 29 September 2016 we only need to download the extra one day of data?

Our answer given in post #2 remains.

Precisely explain how you are coming to this conclusion:

The following day when I open my chartbook, sierra chart has to reload all data from every month since 2014.

Also, what is Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings >>Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download Limit. This is the setting on the left side of that particular dialog which applies to Interactive Brokers specifically. Do not set that higher than 30.
