hello,

i have 2 instances:
1- for data from futurs broker
2- for trading cfd contract from Lmax.
i can share data from a instance to another and place orders to lmax by clicking in the dom chart of a futur chart.

the problem is that price of futur contract and cfd are not the same, when i click at the best bid of the futur contract i'd like that sierra send a limit order at the best bid of the cfd contract as well.

in this capture i have place a limit order in the futur chart at 10493 (le best bid), sierra should send a limit order at the best bid of the cfd contract (10502.4)

I come back to you with my problem when trading from chart lmax cfd by using futur symbol chart corresponding.
Because of difference beetwen price of futur symbol and cash cfd corresponding (actually about 10 points for the dax symbol) i have to readjust my limit order when i want to place them at a specific price (vwap, poc...). This is very boring for scalping trading.

looking the dom of futur contract is importat for me so i 'd like that sierra take in consideration the difference of price beetwen futur and cfd cash symbol to be completely transparent for the trader:

if i place a limit order (using chart trading) 5 points under the best bid futur price in the dom, Sierra should send a limit order to lmax 5 points also under the best bid cfd price).

hope you understand me and take in consideration my request.
Thanks

i add that when using "chart\chart setting\trade ans current quote symbol", the pnl is base on the symbol, while it should be based on the trade and current quote symbol.
Using a chart from a futur symbol and trade with this chart another symbol for exemple lmax cfd is a very interesting functionality but it need these 2 corrections i have mensioned to be usable.

The Profit and Loss values are definitely based upon the Trade and Current Quote Symbol.

This has been verified. Although if Sierra Chart is not connected to the data feed, the last trade price would come from the main price graph of the chart.

Post #4 is definitely something that Sierra Chart will not offer. It is not something you should ever expect. Sierra Chart is not going to be calculating price offsets between the main chart and the Trade and Current Quote Symbol. We would never get involved in that.

What we recommend that you do in regards to the price difference between the futures price and the CFD price is to develop a custom order entry study to accomplish what you need.

Refer to:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ACSILTrading.html

Have a look at the /ACS_Source/OrderEntryStudies.cpp file with Sierra Chart for an example.

Thanks, i will look at this in desperation.

Concerning difference of P&L, i just notice that if i disconnect futur datafeed, P&L become correct. Probably a mistake in my setting.

Regarding the Profit/Loss, we may not clearly be understanding the configuration you are using.

the difference in p&l is just the difference of current price beetwen futur contract and cfd corresponding multiplied by number of contracts.

my configuration: 2 instances: one for datafeed futurs, the other connect to lmax for trading: I use a dom in the instance connected to lmax in which i have set parameters that you can see in the screen shot.
