You may need to change the symbol of the chart to match the symbols used by the particular Data/Trading service you are using. Refer to:

For what you want to do you need to use this study:

Actually it seems that there is an error with the file that was uploaded with the previous query:
"encountered invalid field code (91) whilst reading chartbook file"

I have used the study as described; ie an overlay OHLC on my current chart to place the cci indicator from another chart on this chart.
However, the graphical output is not showing up as candles, or as OHLC (depending on which I select to display from the settings)

Any ideas?

Thanks

We need to see what you are actually seeing when using the Study Overlay-OHLC study.

The #2 chart that contains the source study needs to be set to a shorter time frame per bar like 10 seconds.

OK this is better.
Although not quite there yet;

a) I dont see any tails on the candles?

b) How do I display a CCI candle output that corresponds with the price bar period on #1, rather than the price bar period on chart #2?

Thanks

We see proper candlesticks in our test using the Commodity Channel Index. What is the Graph Draw Type for the overlay study set to?

Provide an image of the chart, by following these instructions:

We also added this to the documentation for the Study Overlay-OHLC study:
To be able to view the High and Low values for a study based upon a higher timeframe per bar but the study is calculated on a shorter timeframe per bar chart, it is necessary to adjust the Length Inputs of the study on the shorter timeframe per bar chart. The study will need to have its Length Inputs increased by the amount which is equal to the higher timeframe divided by the shorter timeframe. For example, if the study is applied to and being calculated on a 1 second chart and it is overlaid on a 1 minute chart, then you will need to increase the Length Inputs by 60 times. This is imperfect, but it does give some approximation.
