For use in Point and Figure and other situations, would it be possible to add one more command to the Chart Drawing Menu?
SC Chart Tool Menu: Copy and Rotate 90° Adjust
SC Chart Tool Menu: Copy and Rotate 90° Move

Flip Vert/Horiz work for angular lines, but not perpendicular: e.g. copying a horizontal line, wall to wall of P&F, then rotating a copy of that line to perpendicular for measuring purposes.

Thank you for your reply and reference. Speaking of a project I (and maybe others) would like to pay for, if you would provide an estimate, is the coding of Jeremy Du Plessis "Definitive guide to Point and Figure" pages 207-209. It is a feature of Updata Analytics charting program. But Updata Analytics (Great Britain) is not nearly the charting platform that Sierra Chart is. Now that you have totally revised SC PF charting, Jeremy's "Trends (45 degree angles automatically displayed at appropriate columns) and Targets (Horizontal and vertical counts automatically displayed around PF congestion areas)" would be a superior addition to SC studies. Again, I would love to defray the cost of the addition. Send an email (or post here) how much I need to add to SC services to help pay.

Free download of the book is here: https://vdthangmeomeo.files.wordpress.com/2014/08/jeremy-du-plessis-_the-definitive-guide-to-point-and-figure.pdf

Here is a link to Updata Analytics video on their PF charts showing trends and targets.

Jeremy's concept is clearly exceptional. It needs an exceptional platform on which to operate. SC is absolutely the finest platform there is, in my opinion.

We may or may not be able to help you with this. We are quite busy but we will see. Depending upon what is involved, there could be a significant cost.

I am also looking for a study that calculates point and figure horizontal and vertical targets in Sierra Chart similar to targets available in Updata. I found this old post and wanted to know if this was ever developed/made available for the Sierra Platform.

Hi User120942,
Thank you for your interest. Some aspects of Horizontal and Vertical counts were developed by Edgeplayer. Unfortunately, at the time and SC versions used, only the Chart Style Point and Figure (F5) were functional to any extent. However I never use P&F Chart style, but prefer P&F Study in conjunction with the new Chart Style: Aligned Renko, and at the time used range per bar, new ban on range met and open = close (in ticks). In any other chart style than "Point and Figure", manipulation of data apparently was deemed either inaccurate or not possible to calculate in SC. In the near future, later SC versions, I will ask Edgeplayer to look at the project again, if only to develop a tool like "price extension" only specifically as Jeremy DuPlessis suggested in his book, but useable on the PF study, which I use daily. There probably would have to be some mathematical allowances for underlying chart style computation. I have some interest, in due course, of seeing what can be done in a spreadsheet environment (.scss) and then converted to native SC code.

Updata is a good program, but for my purposes, impossible to use because of its data refresh method--my charts were always refreshing, rarely stable display to use the very interesting PF studies available.

Thanks for the clarification @martynv. I think the P&F analysis in Updata is good but the speed isn't comparable to Sierra on an intraday basis. I previously was a user of Ninjatrader and found a third party add on that provided targets via the drawing tool but haven't been able to find an alternative in Sierra. All in all a small loss when comparing the reliability and responsiveness of the Sierra Chart team compared to the many headaches that Ninja caused me.
