I found an old thread here : Show Order Fills on chart only shows orders made during the current day (no historical orders fr where someone mentioned there's an option to enable Load Order Fills for Current Day Only in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings. I just checked and did not this option.

Instead I now see Order Fills Start Date-Time (blank for all). If I want to show current day only, I have to key in today's date everyday? Although it works, it's way more manual work than the simple check box to enable Load Order Fills for Current Day Only

Your response in post #2 does provide the correct answer.

You do have to specify a particular Date-Time. There is no other way. It gives you more flexibility. We would never change back to a single day only option.

why not give us both options? A box for Order Fills Start Date-Time (blank for all) for flexibility, and a check box to enable Load Order Fills for Current Day Only for ease of use. Hope this is reasonable and not difficult to implement

We will not do that. That option has proven detrimental to users and to us support wise. We have no intention of adding it.

I have to manually click Apply All in Chart -> Chart Settings -> Trading every day before the start of the session to ensure the Order Fills Start Time is only counting trades made after midnight. Right now I have it set to "00:00:00". I have Order Fills Number of Days to Load set to 0. Is it possible to have this set up so that when I open Sierra Chart the next day the number of orders counted is reset to 0? Currently, it consistently includes trades from the prior session even though it's the next day.

I have Start Time For Trades List set to "00:00:00" already and again this AM when I opened the platform it is showing me that I've placed 3 trades but those are the 3 trades from yesterday's session.

It is notable that I see an asterisk next the Trading tab in the horizontal menu at the top of the Chart Settings menu that looks makes the tab look like this: [*Trading]. I have had to click Apply All every day this week to ensure that when the session begins the trade count is accurately reflecting 0 trades placed for the current session but does this asterisk point to an issue with Sierra Chart not saving my settings?

Here are my complete General settings for Chart -> Chart Settings -> Trading -> General for a complete picture of what I already have set:
Order Fills Start Date (Overrides 'Order Fills Number of Days to Load' is set): blank
Order Fills Start Time: 00:00:00
Load Order Fills for Current Day Only: Yes
Start Time for Trades List: 00:00:00
Include Chart Trade List in Trade Statistics for Charts Window: Yes
Use Order Fill Calculated Trade Position Data: No
Use Last In First Out Fill Matching: No
Clear Trade and Current Quote Symbol on Symbol Change: No
Always Simulate Bid and Ask Prices During Replay: No
Load Order Fills For Multiple Futures Contracts: No
Filter Initial Fills Which Are Part Of Existing Position: Yes
Open Position Average Price (List): Use First In First Out Fill Matching For Open Position Average
Use Symbol Commission Setting in Trade List and Statistics Calculations: No

Is this possibly a bug? I'm still seeing the issue today.

Is this for simulated trading or for live trading. Refer to the following setting for why we ask this:
Chart Settings: Load Order Fills for Current Day Only (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)

This is not simulated. This is a live account at a real firm but I have figured it out thanks to the documentation you provided. I had the session time set to 9:30 AM EST and pre-market prep always happens before 9:30 AM. This meant the trades for the current session never passed the session start time to reset. I set it to 8:30 AM for the session start and the trades placed today automatically reset to 0. Thanks!
