Sierra Chart data for Historical Market Depth Graph vs. IB data

I am loving the new Historical Market Depth Graph study but I want to make sure that I'm getting accurate data. I am with IB, and although their data isn't great, the option to download accurate 5 second historical bars from IB has been an excellent work around to get accurate data without having to spend extra on Sierra Charts data. When I did use my free trial for testing the Sierra data vs IB data, I noticed that the market depth was very smooth, unlike the IB Market Depth which tends to be a bit jumpy as it displays all the levels, but I'm not sure if this jumpy behavior has any impact on the actual contracts offered at each level and the accuracy of this information.

I was hoping to do a test, using two different instances of Sierra, to plot what my historical market depth graph would look like with data from IB and with Sierra Data to see if I do indeed need to spend the extra money for the Sierra Data. I am having trouble finding out though if the 20 Real Time Symbols Quotes package would be enough since is says its for indicies only. If all I am looking to chart is the ES and NQ, will this $20 package be good enough (since the ES and NQ are futures indicies)? Its of course the end of the month and hence its prorated, which makes it an ideal time to do this test.

I know that the IB data was no good for bid/ask volume when trying to plot cumulative delta, but it seems to work much better for DOM depth data as the graphs I am getting now for Historical Market Depth look like I would expect them to look.

So my questions are:

1. Do you know if the IB data in terms of accuracy of market depth is accurate enough to display the historical market depth graph properly?

2. If I do sign up for Sierra Data for the last few days this month to do my test, will I be able to use the Sierra Data in one Sierra Charts Instance, while having a 2nd instance of Sierra Charts open which would use the IB data so that I could easily compare my two charts?

3. Will the package for 20 Real Time Symbols be sufficient for charting ES and NQ? Its only $20 vs $35, and I see I can use the $5.25 option for the CME with market depth exchange fee so this would only be $25 every month.

Thanks.

1. Not totally sure but would seem like it would be acceptable. But you have to make your own determination.

2. Yes you can. Refer to:

3. No definitely not. That is for cash indexes only.
