forex daily bars

daily bars won't draw starting each sunday. i've been updating the symbol settings (fxcm) from server each weekend to remedy, but that's no longer working. actually the same problem appears on separate sierra instance fed by IB for any forex symbol. all i see is a tiny wick with no width centered around the opening price, where the candle should appear

This has now been resolved. It was a problem with the setting of the daily open price. The daily open is now being provided for all Forex symbols. ok, that's great, but just wondering how a setting on your side without any intervention on our part could have affected the daily bars for both fxcm and ib . . . hmm . .

speaking of daily bars, i am looking at some spread symbols, for instance, GE:BF Z16-Z17-Z18.FUT_SPREAD.CME. there have been a few trades so far today, but no daily bar appears ?

There should not be any problem with this. We got historical data when testing this symbol. Although we noticed inconsistencies with the data between the two servers and that will be resolved this evening. What we want you to do is clear the Message Log following these instructions: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/MessageLog.html#Clearing After that go to the chart and select Edit >> Delete All Data Download.
