Smarter logic for queuing symbol update data downloads?

Hopefully someone can help me with this, maybe I am just doing something wrong. When I first open sierra chart and connect to a data feed, it automatically starts downloading new data. This takes quite a while, I assume it is going through my global "Intraday file update list" and updating anything that appears there. That is great, however the problem is that while this process is happening, if I open any charts for a symbol which is not in that list or which is in the list but has not been processed yet, the screen sits on "Waiting to download historical data" and doesn't download anything. What I would like to happen is that if I switch to a symbol which needs to be updated, that chart takes precedence over whaever else may be queued so that I can start working with it as soon as possible without waiting for the entire list of intraday tickers to finish updating.

Hope this makes sense?

This is not something that we would change. Although we are updating our servers to provide even faster data downloading. We are also doing some file defragmentation on the servers over the weekend and that might be impacting the speed of serving data.

You need to manage this by using multiple instances of Sierra Chart:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time

And adjusting the order of symbols in the Intraday File Update List.
