Do symbols in watchlists rollover automatically, just like symbols in quoteboards do? I see no mention of it in the SC online documentation. I'm setting up a scanner, and depending on the answer I will be scanning through a watchlist (my preferred method), or through all symbol data files. Thanks.

No they do not. We could add that. Never really thought about that before.

It would be very useful. Also practical for quickly shuffling through symbols in DOMs and charts. If using watchlists for that purpose (great feature, just discovered it), having to manually roll over every symbol in every attached watchlist would be a lot of work.

I understood that Associated Watchlist Symbols for futures rollover automatically, but they do not change in the Associated Watchlist, so they will always point to an old future contract.

I use a list of approx. 50 future symbols which i scan through every day.

I encountered three issues:
1. When I scan the associated watchlist, historical data is not just downloaded for the last day, but SC seems to download sometimes again data which has been downloaded the days earlier already. I see that, cause downloading takes very long for some symbols, and others are super quick, even though I update all of them daily.

2. Sometimes Charts are not updating automatically to the newest symbol when scanning through the watchlist, but they only update after re-opening Sierrachart entirely.

3. I usually draw trendlines into the charts. Sometimes they disappear after switching to another symbol on my watchlist and loading the previous symbol again from the associated watchlist.

There is there any solution to 1., 2. or 3., or did I miss something?

No that is not the case.

1. This is not correct. We are not sure how you come to this conclusion.

2. The chart will be set to the exact same symbol that is listed in the associated watchlist. But it can be updated to the latest futures contract if the chart has this option enabled:
Chart Settings: Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

3. This does not make sense, however refer to this option:
Chart Settings: Show Chart Drawings For Different Symbols (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu)

It is not possible for chart drawings to just simply disappear like you are describing. What you are describing cannot happen. You will still see the drawings in Tools >> Manage Chart Drawings Window. Make sure you select the proper symbol at the top. And make sure you update to the latest version which is now 1856.

The last two items you are describing basically technically cannot occur and are never reported. They are an impossibility.

Has been suggested before, if symbols in watchlists could rollover once charts are rolled over, and also ability to select multiple symbols in watchlists at once and roll them together, would be a huge time saver.

v2060, 'AutomaticallyRolloverFuturesSymbol' enabled, and even manually selecting Rollover Expired Futures Symbols on the Watchlist, the micro FX symbols M6E, M6B, M6Y for March etc are not rolling over, while the mini FX symbols 6E, 6B, 6J etc did roll to June.
