I study the help forum, trying to not bother you.

I followed https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php?ThreadID=9
to
Chart Menu: Show Menu (Chart menu)

I tried all that; Menu option shows checked on right click top bar.

Core problem: Menu WON'T come back- wont show when checked.
You know the focus problem when detached.

Detached Chart won't actually bring back the Menu like when first detached.
I always kept Global-Customize- Show Menu from title bar set on.

I've got 2000 hrs on SC-- had this problem before; Had to restore twice before because of it.
Now I recall why I gave up on detaching chart windows.
I've done too much work this time to lose it.

Multimonitor is not the cause; detached chart stays near main SC on main monitor of multimonitor.

I Overcame this by using Keyboard Shortcut to Reattach Window, while focus was on the stranded detached window.
Then when I used the main SC Chart set Menu On, it came back showing when I re-detached it.

Voila' !

Hope that helps someone.

None of this is making sense. We tested hiding the menu on a detached chart and was able to show it again through the Show Menu command when right clicking on the Region Data Line at the top of the chart as is documented. No trouble whatsoever and we have never heard about a problem about this.

The documentation is the proper reference in case anyone has any questions about how the functionality works. Additional updates have been made to it.

; Had to restore twice before because of it.
Not sure what you mean by this, but you should not have to restore anything with a problem like this.
