Hi Sir,

I have a futures account at one broker, and I plan to add two new accounts for Forex and Stocks trading at two different brokers.
Could you advise if I can use the Sierrachart for the 3 different accounts? Will I be charged three times of monthly usage for owning 3 accounts? Could I trade the 3 accounts at the same time on Sierrachart platform?

Thank you
Benjamin

Yes you can use Sierra Chart for all three of your accounts. You only pay once.

Hi Sir,

Could you advise what is the difference between these two words "copy" and "instance" at the following sentences:

(1)With Sierra Chart, you are able to run multiple COPIES of the program at the same time. The purpose of this is to be able to use more than one different Data or Trading service at the same time.
(2)There is also the ability to run multiple INSTANCEs of Sierra Chart using market data and trading functionality from a single Server copy of Sierra Chart.

The above two sentences look like the same to me, and I cannot tell the difference. Please advise.

Thank you

Hi Sir,

I do not think "copy" and "instance" are the same things.
According to your website, it needs to install new Sierrachart software in different folder in order to use a new "copy". It looks like they serve for different purposes.

Could you help to check again what is the difference between these two words "copy" and "instance" at the following two sentences:

(1)With Sierra Chart, you are able to run multiple COPIES of the program at the same time. The purpose of this is to be able to use more than one different Data or Trading service at the same time.
(2)There is also the ability to run multiple INSTANCEs of Sierra Chart using market data and trading functionality from a single Server copy of Sierra Chart.

Random question : let's say that one connects to multiple DTS which are actually running cross instrument types, like one futures connection and one CFD connection with LMAX or FXCM.

Is there a way with SC to proceed with one click trading on the futures chart but that it executes also in parallel at the CFD broker ?

Even more random, let's say you would want to spread trade CQG futures and LMAX CFDs, can SC enable to go long futures (single action undertaken by the user) and automatically that it goes short CFD on another symbol ?

Thank you

No problem, there is a way to do it simply. Just put the SC platforms side by side configured with a separate DTS connection, then use an automation script like AutoIt or AutoHotkey to trigger simultaneous mouse clicks on the screen. This way, you can hit the MKT Sell button at the same time than MKT Buy, etc.... just a little imagination is needed ;)
