A serious bug has been found with the storage of the market depth data for the Market Depth Historical Graph study feature. This causes very large data files and significantly hurts the performance of Sierra Chart. This problem arose in a recent release. We need to check on the specific version, but it generally is going to be somewhere around version 1434. The problem has been corrected. If you are using the Market Depth Historical Graph feature, then you must update to the current version as soon as possible. Follow these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate This is a mandatory update and versions 1428 through 1436 will be locked out July 4. We are locking out all versions supporting the Market Depth Historical Graph Feature earlier than 1437. After the update, it is important to go to the Drive:/SierraChart/Data/MarketDepthData folder on your system and delete all of the existing depth files because they are excessively large and have unnecessary data in them. You can only delete the files when Sierra Chart is disconnected with the data feed (File >> Disconnect). We do apologize for this issue.
