Hi
I'm using a subinstance on same computer, seen at left in attached snap.
Problem is the sub only places orders to the master instance when sub is in live mode and master is in sim mode, like in snap.
If i switch the sub to live, and place order, i see this log

GAIN Capital/OEC order update (Order reject). Info: Trade Account does not match Sierra Chart Trade Simulation setting. Internal Order ID: 2722. Service Order ID: (none). Symbol: GGCQ6 | 2016-06-29 19:56:51 *

This is not the reason for the problem but you are running a significantly older version. Update following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

In the newer versions, the particular Trade Account you are using is given. The problem is you are using a simulation Trade Account.

No, you need to select the correct non-simulated Trade Account on the Trade Window. Refer to:

Hi,
I have copied a data folder from a DTS setup to a 2nd instance that is not DTS
and the 2nd instance is showing these errors

Listening socket (756), port 0 | Failed to bind socket to 0.0.0.0:11099. Windows error code 10048: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted. | 2016-10-25 17:13:07 *
Listening socket (756), port 0 | Closed. | 2016-10-25 17:13:07
DTC Protocol Server failed to start listening on port 11099. | 2016-10-25 17:13:07 *

the 2nd instance has a blank in the DTS section of data/trade settings. please advise on removing errors

To resolve the socket related errors, refer to:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DTCServer.php#ResolvingDTCProtocolServerPortNumberConflicts

the 2nd instance has a blank in the DTS section of data/trade settings.
Set Sierra Chart to use the particular Data or Trading service that you want:
