I have already read "Chart Drawings Are Misaligned After Changing the Period / Timeframe Per Bar" in the documentation, but it does not explain away this problem.

Try the following scenario.

Chart 1
1. Create a 60 min chart of Gold futures (GC).
2. Draw some long trendlines spanning 4-6 weeks, and shorter ones also.
3. Change the intraday chart bar period to Range per Bar standard (in ticks) with a value of 5.
4. Trendlines look perfect and are where they should be.

Chart 2
1. Create a 60 min chart of Gold futures (GC).
2. Use "Copy Chart Drawings from Chart Numbers" and copy from chart 1 above.
3. Trendlines look fine.
4. Change the intraday chart bar period to Range per Bar standard (in ticks) with a value of 5.
5. Trendlines are NOT where they should be, and off by very far, not just a little.

Since both charts were 60 min charts when the drawings were initially copied over, there should not be a problem later when changing the intraday bar period.

In chart 2, check Chart >> Chart Settings >> Days to Load and make sure it is set high enough.

If you still need help, we will need to get your Chartbook consisting of only two charts and a single Chart Drawing which is not copying as expected. Here are instructions:

Chart 2 has 90 days of data, and Chart 1 has 90 days of data.

I have uploaded a chartbook with only two charts. These charts are completely clean of any studies and drawings except for 1 trendline in Chart 1. Chart 2 copies the drawings from Chart 1.

If you switch Chart 2 to any tick chart value (200 or 400) or any Range per Bar standard (in ticks) value (5 or 10), then follow the trendline on the two charts with Global Cursor and Synchronize Charts on, and notice where the trendline touches on both charts. If you switch Chart 2 to 60 min, the trendline will be perfect like in Chart 1.
