How is this even possible? All formulas are gone, even though file's last saved date is ten days ago. All sheets are there (except a custom one for sizing), but have no formulas whatsoever. I kept the same scss file in a second instance Data folder. The 2nd instance was not even running. That spreadsheet is empty of formulas as well. How is THAT possible?

I'm scratching my head to understand what happened here.............

It is very hard for us to answer this question.

If you attach this spreadsheet file we can have a look at it and see what it contains.

Also the formulas could have been affected by the Formula Source Sheet Number setting causing them to be erased. This is explained here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SpreadsheetStudyInputs.html#FormulaSourceSheetNumber

Also do not save that spreadsheet after opening it so you preserve how it was previously in case it is getting affected after opening it for some unknown reason.

Have uploaded. Something strange definitely going on, as the file size is not that of a new empty file.

We opened up the spreadsheet file and see sheet 13 visible and we see a lot of formulas in that sheet.

Tell us a specific Sheet and cell that we should look for a formula and then we will see if it is there.

Sheet13, which is the source, appears empty in my SC, as all others.

The sheets are all full of formulas and values and color coding. No problem at all from what we can see.

We will get back to you later today about this.

If you open the Spreadsheet through File >> Open Spreadsheet do you see the formulas and data?

We have not been able to come up with much about this problem so far.

We need our question in #7 answered.

What version of Sierra Chart are you running?

Also check the Spreadsheet Color Settings:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Spreadsheets.html#ColorSettings

https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_Spreadsheets.html#CellFormatting

To see if the problem relates to hidden text.

That's it, thank you! When opened through the file-open spreadsheet, it opened without problems.
And also, when later used in the chartbook it stayed that way. Good. I believe you are suspecting what caused this strange behavior and my, almost, heart attack.

If you can no longer reproduce the problem, then we cannot. We are actually still not sure why it happened.

Without knowing what the Formula Source Sheet Number Input was set to when you had the problem we cannot know if that was the cause.

Not sure what you mean by how it was set to. It was set to sheet 13 from the creation of the spreadsheet.

OK this is all we needed to know. What we meant is, what it was set to.
