Sierra re-downloading data

Good day, lately, I have a serious issue with sierra to the point, it is not possible to use it for trading anymore. It starts re-downloading historical data every 5 minutes and gets frozen after that. My log is in attachment. Thank you for your help.

This is the reason for this:

CTS FIX: No heartbeat messages received from server. Sent Test Request message to server. | 2016-06-24 06:46:10
CTS FIX: Disconnecting due to a loss of activity. No activity for at least 62 seconds. | 2016-06-24 06:47:20 *
CTS FIX: Sending a Logout message. Text = No response received after Test Request. | 2016-06-24 06:47:20

So this is due to an Internet connectivity problem.

From our side there is not anything we can do. How long has this been going on? This might be some kind of ISP issue.

One thing we can tell you is that there is going to be a complete new method to connect to CTS in about another month or so which should completely avoid this kind of problem.

It started few weeks ago and it re-download maybe twice a day. Now, it is every few minutes and trading is not possible anymore.

Actually, all this problems started once I connected sierra to Topsteptrader data feed. On free data from fxcm, everything was nice and smooth.

Yes we know.

We think it is the FIX data getting throttled by the ISP you are using causing the problem.

As we said the solution that we are developing will solve this kind of issue.

Unfortunately not. I also tried Infinity futures trading platform http://infinityfutures.com/practiceaccount.aspx And it works perfect with no issue.

From our side there is not anything we can do about this. It is simply due to a network connectivity issue from your side. Possibly the port being used and the type of data.

However, in about a month or so, we will be releasing a new connectivity method for CTS which will avoid this.

Just an idea: have you tried setting the Max Historical Days to Download to zero in Data Trade Settings [done after the initial download has occurred on startup]

That really is not going to help. The connection is still going to become lost to the CTS system.

A little observation - if i connect TST to sierra and load only forex or CFD charts, it works great too.
