For Cumulative Delta Bars, follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps

After that re-download the data in the chart with Edit >>Delete All Data and Download

The problem with the Countdown Timer is because your computer's clock is not set accurately:

Regarding the Countdown Timer, scroll to the end of the chart and then post an image of the chart by following these instructions here:

We apologize. We gave you the wrong link. This is the correct one:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#Image

Anyway, we can see what the problem is. You are not receiving the real-time data, which you will not because the data feed is not active on your account so the Countdown Timer will show 0.

In the chart image that you provided, we do not see the chart replaying. When you replay the chart, the Countdown Timer will show the correct value.

If not, then provide an image of the chart during a replay.

OK so based upon what we see, the Countdown Timer is correct.

If you want to make sure it counts down continuously every second, then you need to set the Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock Input to Yes with that study.

We tested the Countdown Timer during a replay and it works perfectly as expected and counts down continuously second by second when the input described in post # 11 is set to Yes.

What is the purpose of post #15 being that you set Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock to No. It is meaningless because the timer will not continuously countdown in that case.

Regarding the video in post #16, see our policy here about videos:
Support Board Posting Information: Do Not Post Videos Unless Requested!

We are not sure what you are trying to show but we do not see any problem with lagging. We know there is not a problem and you have not demonstrated that there is a problem. There must be some kind of misunderstanding. We cannot provide further help.

are you kidding me? obviously you did not watch video! what is the other way to show it to you? look at the 1sec chart, there is a timeline which is showing times continously sec by sec, so it should show every new second, but there you can see that sometimes go sec by sec and sometimes jump about 2 and more seconds...

I notice the same stall of the CountDown Timer.
The attached example chartbook/spreadsheet demonstrates this in Replay Chart.
An illiquid symbol and times of day were chosen to further exemplify.

The spreadsheet calculates the remaining seconds in a bar on a 1 min chart, and this is displayed with the Text Display for Study study.
This value only changes when the chart updates.

With the 'Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock' set to No, the countdown only updates when the chart updates.
With the 'Display Continuous Time Countdown Based on Real-Time Clock' set to Yes, the continuous countdown starts only when the chart updates in a new bar. Also, a new bar is not drawn until a chart update occurs, even though the countdown has reached 0.

I understand that this behavior might be by design, but it exists nonetheless.

Yes, you understand correctly.

I edited post #20 to include that a new bar is not drawn until there is a chart update, even though the countdown has reached 0.

We only watched the second video. Our policy on videos has been reaffirmed after this. While what you are trying to show may be clear to you, you did not tell us what we should be looking for specifically.

there is a timeline which is showing times continously sec by sec, so it should show every new second, but there you can see that sometimes go sec by sec and sometimes jump about 2 and more seconds...

Does this happen when a new bar begins in the chart?

If the problem is that the countdown timer does not start counting down, when a new bar should begin according to the starting of a new minute but has not yet actually started, we will see if we can resolve that.
