We had released prerelease version 1427 over the weekend and there was an unexpected stability problem with it which would cause Sierra Chart to freeze under some conditions when opening a chart. And then there was another unexpected problem where this prerelease was also being released as the main release. This related to the version number settings used by the new installer which had not been set correctly. So unfortunately, many users had gotten this version. We do apologize for this. Sierra Chart is known to be a very fast and stable program and this was a very significant problem with this version. Obviously this has created a poor impression and problems for users. 1427 has been removed and if you are running it, select Help >> Download Current Version to go back to 1426. This problem arose when we were trying to solve an issue for an outside developer. There was no functional problem with Sierra Chart but there was some behavior that we were trying to improve upon for their particular usage scenario.
